That's excellent! There is hope for Nathan yet.

I doubt Jaden will keep it that way. It's not even something we ask him to do. Heck, we rarely make our own bed.

Hey..we don't make our bed either. I don't get the point of it so I don't do it. I mean, your just gonna get back in later. It's not like washing dishes or laundry. Besides, who sees it?!

The housekeeper waits until the cat has roosted somewhere else before she does it.

I used to get a quarter a week for making the bed when I was his age....or a nickel a day. Now that I think about it I got gyped! I guess it's better getting "short changed" than "short sheeted" right?. I typically was docked a nickel/day that I didn't make the bed. To put this in perspective, that also was back when a candybar was a nickel. So not making the bed sucked worse.

My brother and I also had bed inspection. You had to be able to bounce a quarter on it. Dad was tough. You would have thought he was still in the Navy or something. As we got older though he mellowed out a bit.

I don't remember if you ever made me make my bed? Heck, I can't remember if mom did it either. I know they wanted us to in the dorms in high school. My wife and I only make the bed on the days the cleaning ladies come. We don't make the kids do it at all, except on a special occasion maybe.
