Jaden's off to Dental Surgery in the Morning
My oldest apparently has an extra tooth that, if it grows in, would mess up his teeth pretty bad. Tomorrow is the appointed day to have it removed, so he's going in for surgery at a very early hour in the morning--something the wife isn't looking forward to. Neither is Jaden. He is a bit scared of the whole thing.
This is one of those situations where I'm probably not the right person for the job. Fortunately, mommy will be with him tomorrow, which is a good thing. We don't expect any major problems, of course. Being there is surgery involved, there's always a risk, but we won't think about that.

Make sure he get's carte blache ticket to the ice cream counter! And don't forget the tooth fairy.
I just pulled out a tooth myself over Christmas. It was so loose it was popping out by itself. My flipper dropped down and went back in sideways the year before and damaged the tooth when I was eating one day. Just progressively got worse.
Rinsing his mouth with warm salt water will help the healing process if he can stand it.
And as expected, Jaden is doing perfectly fine.
When I was Jadens age we had 5 Mikes living on the same block. When one of the mothers stuck thier head out the door and yelled "MIKE...DINNER" it was a riot. Many times we were all in the same earshot and show up to see what was cookin. We were the living embodiment of the Stovetop Dressing Commercial.
Sometimes we even got invited over.
