Mired in Music

The Paris CD is awesome. I used to have the tape, years ago (as I've probably mentioned), but I never re-picked up the CD yet - dang, that's expensive. That was one awesome CD.

I used to carpool with this girl who ALWAYS played the police. I hated them. Then after college, I missed it so I went out and bought Syncronicity. I think it grew on me.

Make sure you have a good backup of your stuff your doing. I don't spend a lot of time with iTunes to really learn it but from what I've seen its not quite so easy to get things back the way they were after a system crash. They need to incorporate some sort of backup system a little better than thier current system.
I picked up Paris back in my college years when I was buying music left and right and running up credit cards in the process. Now I rarely buy music anymore.

I remember that dad had Synchronicity a long time ago, not to mention the amount of airplay they were getting back in the day as well as on Classic Rock stations today.
I've purchased a big fat ZERO things from the iTunes Store. The only thing I've ever downloaded from that store was a free episode of Battlestar Galatica (one that summarized the first two seasons--nice way to get caught up). If I lose that, who cares.

I have my general computer backup as well as a backup with a service called MP3Tunes. Even if these ultimately fail, none of the stuff I have in iTunes will be lost as I still have the original CDs.
